The rest: Pearl Izumi made up 14% of the pie for both genders. After August, most of our Pearls were sold on discount and thus not added to the totals. We try not to include any discounted items into these lists, just full-priced purchases. Most of the time sale shoes are bought because of low price and not because of the brand.
Scott, Lasportiva, Inov-8, and Montrail had minimal totals.
With the exit of Pearl–and Montrail–from our rotation, we look to add Scarpa and On Running in 2017.
We expect Altra’s domination will subside a bit in part to the new Topo Terraventure, the Saucony Peregrine 7, and Hoka’s Fall Lineup: Speed Instinct 2, Stinson Trail 4, SpeedGoat 2.
Although, Altra launches more trail models in 2017: King MT and Timp, so we could see their totals rise!
