Altra Running is still leading the pack at Seven Hills! The Olympus is a deserving top podium placer as people are loving the new grippy Vibram Megagrip sole and mega cushioning underfoot. Paired with Altra’s zero drop and natural foot shape it’s a match made in heaven, especially for those longer ultra trail runs.
The Superior 2016 and Lone Peak 2.5 complete the strong showing from Altra. The Superior caters for those looking for a lightweight and versatile minimal offering, while the Lone Peak 2.5 lies in the sweet middle ground with moderate cushioning for a comfortable trail ride.
Merrell’s All Out Peak remains a firm favourite amongst our customers while the arrival of the much anticipated Montrail Trans Alps this month has already proved a draw for the men and secured its place in our top seven for February.
We predict a shake up in the listings from Pearl Izumi next month. The new Trail N3 hit our shelves last week and with its roomy toe box and ample cushioning, it should prove to be a popular shoe with which to hit the trails.
